Exuma restaurants are known for amazing Bahamian home cooking – cracked conch, pan seared grouper & snapper caught that morning, coconut fried shrimp, peans ‘n’ rice and baked macaroni among other things. Conch salad at the Fish Fry or on Stocking Island at the Chat ‘N’ Chill is not to be missed.
Restaurants at larger resorts have upscale dining, including continental twists on local cuisine, such as fresh grouper with mango salsa, curried shrimp with jasmine rice, as well as imported steaks, rack of lamb and gourmet pizzas.
